Middletown Aviation Club
Fly-in Pancake Breakfast 21 May 05

The morning broke with the promise of a great day ahead.  Yesterday, Friday May 20, the weather was terrible.  A group of us offloaded the Wright Flyer for display for the Saturday breakfast group.

The Wright Flyer is a large machine.  We had a dozen people on hand and it's a good thing we did.  It took all of us to carefully remove the pieces from the truck.

By the time I arrived Saturday, I had already missed a number of aircraft.  But I did capture some nice aircraft for all to see.

The atmosphere was festive with a number of people enjoying the sights and sounds of aviation.

The airport management arranged for a DC3 to be positioned for an up close and personal look at that great aircraft.

This very aircraft served during WWII as a C47 for the British Forces.
