July 25-27: National Radio Control Jet Model Show, Hook Field, KMWO

80 pilots with a variety of exhibits and prizes

July 28-August 3: Oshkosh Airventure

What can you say?  You should see it at least once in your life.  Fly in and camp on the flightline.

August 11-13: Warbird tours and flights at Wright Bros Memorial, KMGY

The Collings Foundation "Wings of Freedom Tour" will be stopping at Dayton Wright Brothers Airport located on State Route 741 Aug. 11,12,13, 2008. This is a Mon. Tues, Weds.

 

They are bringing their B-17, B-24, B-25, P-51C and their Corsair may be coming as well.

They will have tours of the aircraft as well as flight rides available for purchase.

They are a (501-C-3) and are tax-deductable

This is a great collection of WWII aircraft and are maintained at a high standard..!!

 

Tours are:

$12.00 for adults $6.00 for Kids "and this includes all the aircraft for a walk-thru"

 

Flight in the B-17 and B-24:$425.00

 

Flights in the B-25:$400.00 for the Front, $325.00 for the Waist "in Back"

 

P-51C Mustang: $2200.00 for 30 minutes, $3200.00 for 1 hour

"This Mustang is a TF.. complete dual control, and you get to fly her...!!

 

Come on out and see these great aircraft. This is their first time to the Dayton area...!!!

September 6-7: MERFI Fly-in, Urbana, Ohio i74

Time: 7AM to 5PM each day.

The MERFI fly-in has moved to Urbana, Ohio.  We are looking for participants and for volunteers to help make the event a success.  Plenty of parking with on-airport restaurant.
